I’m Suzie – talent manager, career coach, CV and LinkedIn writer and a long-time champion of people who quietly do brilliant work and don’t always shout about it.

I'm also a mum (two children and one cat), wife, sister, daughter, friend and colleague – which matters because we are all more than our job titles.

I remember that Sunday night dread: the frustration of knowing you have so much to offer, yet struggling to get noticed. The endless applications with no response. The fear of selling yourself. The self-doubt creeping in.

I get it because I’ve been there.
​
After 14 years in one company, I hit my own career crossroads. When I decided to make a change, I faced the same struggles you might be experiencing now – my CV alone wasn’t opening doors.
​
Through a lot of trial, even more error and more late nights than I care to remember, I developed an approach that changed everything – one that brings together clarity about what you offer, confidence in how you communicate it and a sense of control over your next move. It led to a role that transformed my career. I made another move after that and, in 2020, when the world had gone a little mad, I left the corporate world altogether to help others do the same.

After more than five years being fully self-employed, in early 2026 I returned to an in-house talent management role working with senior leaders role four days a week. Moving from employed to self-employed and back again reinforced something I believe deeply: you’re never as stuck as you think, and no career decision has to be forever. You’re allowed to choose what’s right for you in a given season and to change your mind as your life, priorities and ambitions evolve.

My philosophy

I spend my days thinking about career potential, positioning and progression. Time after I've see first-hand how often capable leaders underestimate the value of what they bring.
​My commitment to helping people uncover, own and articulate this value is the thread that runs through all of my work.

I’m at my best when I’m helping someone step back from the noise, see their experience with fresh eyes and express it in a way that finally does them justice – on their CV, on LinkedIn and in their own head.
